Neurobion/Neurobion Forte

Per Neurobion tab Vit B₁ 100 mg, vit B₆ 200 mg, vit B₁₂ 200 mcg. Per Neurobion Forte tab Vit B₁ 100 mg, vit B₆ 100 mg, vit B₁₂ 5 mg. Per mL Neurobion Forte soln for inj Vit B₁ 100 mg, vit B₆ 100 mg, vit B₁₂ 5 mg

Neurobion tab Neuritis & neuralgia, especially cervical syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome, lumbalgia, sciatica, facial paresis. Alcoholic polyneuropathy. Diabetic neuropathy, including impotence due to autonomic neuropathy. Metabolic & neuropathic changes due to pregnancy & OCs. Nausea & vomiting of pregnancy. Drug-induced neuropathies. Supplemental therapy following major surgery or debilitating illness. Neurobion Forte tab Diabetic neuropathy; neuralgias & neuritis, algias of rheumatic & traumatic origin; degenerative conditions of the spine or surgical operations carried out thereon, herpes zoster, hemicrania & facial paresis; nausea & vomiting of pregnancy. Neurobion Forte soln for inj Disorders associated w/ vit B-complex deficiency. Polyneuritis, neuralgia, sciatica & shoulder-arm syndrome, lumbago-lumbalgia, intercostal neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, facial palsy due to herpes zoster, diabetic neuropathy, optic neuritis, numbness of the extremities, as a supplement to therapy w/ INH, reserpine & phenothiazines, nausea & vomiting of pregnancy, vit B deficiency, CVA.

Neurobion tab 1 tab once daily to tid. Neurobion Forte tab 2-4 tab in divided doses/day. Neurobion Forte soln for inj Initially 1 amp daily until acute symptoms subside. Follow-up therapy: 2-3 amp/wk.

Should be taken with food: Take w/ or after meals. Swallow tab whole, do not chew/crush.

Hypersensitivity. Childn <14 yr.

Regular monitoring under long-term treatment. High doses of vit B₆ (>600 mg daily) may inhibit production of breast milk. Neurobion tab/Neurobion Forte tab Contains lactose & sucrose.

Sweating, tachycardia, skin reactions w/ itching & urticaria; GI complaints eg, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain; chromaturia. Neurobion Forte soln for inj Inj site reactions.

Decrease effect of levodopa. Decreased effect of vit B₆ w/ pyridoxine-antagonists eg, INH, cycloserine, penicillamine, hydralazine. May accelerate elimination & decrease serum levels of vit B₁ w/ loop diuretics eg, furosemide (long-term use). May lead to vit B₁₂ deficiency w/ long-term use of acid-lowering agents.

Vitamin B-Complex / with C

A11DB - Vitamin B1 in combination with vitamin B6 and/or vitamin B12 ; Used as dietary supplements.
